Watch Culture.pl's video about the Polish Radio Experimental Studio (PRES) and it's 'black room' between the years 1957-2004. PRES was the birthplace of sounds used by science-fiction directors behind the Iron Curtain and masterpieces by Wojciech Jerzy Has. It bore music used by theatre directors and dancers, radio feature makers and made what would later be labelled contemporary music pieces. Relating the story of the studio's visionary work are Bolesław Błaszczak, Marcin Lenarczyk, Monika Pasiecznik and Ewa Szczecińska.
