The carillon is a musical instrument from the group of struck idiophones, which includes a set of bells (according to the World Carillon Federation, the instrument must include at least 23 bells, although a standard carillon has at least four octaves, i.e. 47 bells). The hearts of bells are moved with a special keyboard, which at first glance looks like piano keys. And yet, the instrument is nothing like a piano!
