Located on Puławska Street, a busy thoroughfare in Warsaw’s Mokotów neighbourhood, V9 Gallery is a screen printing studio specialising in art prints and presenting the work of artists associated with graffiti and the urban art scene.
This DIY workplace was created by enthusiasts of manual printing as space for exhibitions and workshops, with the aim of including younger artists and those outside the mainstream art world.
Bartek Korczak tells us about the studio, demonstrates the process of manual screen printing, and reveals how you can make your own printed t-shirts at V9's weekly 'Selfisz' events.
This video is part of our new series Slices of Poland, presenting assorted audiovisual bites of Polish culture, from milk bars to artist studios, and everything in between.
