Musician, comic book creator and painter Paweł Płóciennik and Culture.pl visit off-the-tourist-track boroughs of Warsaw where the artist grew up and which he illustrates in his work.
Creator of comics, illustrations and music, Paweł signs his work as Szaweł. The protagonists of his comic books are people he knows and whose experiences are worth tranposing onto paper. His most recent publications include an auto-biographical story about the summer of 1980 in Warsaw Sprane dżinsy i sztama (Washed Out Jeans and Buddies), the script to which was written by his father Jarosław), and a comic book about the life of Pinky - a Warsaw hippy who he met by chance.
