Adam Mickiewicz Institute (original full name: International Centre for Cultural Cooperation - Adam Mickiewicz Institute) is a government cultural institution established in 2000 by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, in consultation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the Institute is promotion of Polish culture in the world, cultural cooperation and dialogue with other countries. The Institute is co-responsible for the implementation of the Polish foreign cultural policy, especially in the dimension of information and promotion.
