The Central Department Store was located at 15/19 Bracka Street in Warsaw, at the junction of Krucza Street and Jerozolimskie Avenue. The building was designed in the years 1947-1948 by Zbigniew Ihnatowicz and Jerzy Romański. The store opened its door to the customers on 22nd July 1951 as CDT, the abbreviation of Centralny Dom Towarowy.
