'Captain of Illustration: 100 Years of Children's Books from Poland' is a cross-section of 100 years of Poland's children's illustrations, edited by Dr. Anita Wincencjusz-Patyna in collaboration with the Dwie Siostry Publishing House. In honour of Poland's centennial of regaining independence, the book chooses exemplary works from 1918-2018, representing different technical forms, cultural touchpoints, famous names, series, thematic styles and motifs.
The book contains over 800 illustrations from over 200 illustrators.
