Photo report from the exhibition 'Brief Vacation' in the Polish Pavilion at the 24th Triennale di Milano. A space inspired by the tepidarium – an ancient Roman room intended for relaxation and social gatherings.
The exhibition, curated by Katarzyna Roj, refers to the idea of a daytime sanatorium, offering visitors a moment of respite from the everyday rush and the bustle of the event. The project involves a team of creators: architect Aleksandra Wasilkowska (transanatorium design), sculptor Olaf Brzeski, photographer Łukasz Rusznica, visual communication specialist Agata Bartkowiak, as well as Monika Opieka (scent), Alicja Wysocka (choreography), and Antonina Nowacka (sound).
The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is organizing the Polish Pavilion at the Triennale di Milano for the fourth time. The event will run from 13 May to 9 November 2025.
