The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich programme of events. One of the most interesting of them is the concert of the winners of the 1st International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments which will be held on 11th October 2019. It will feature Tomasz Ritter, a young pianist and winner of the 1st place, as well as the winner of the 2 place Naruhiko Kawaguchi who will perform on the Pleyel piano from 1846.
The exhibition Chopin: Portrayed in 200 Years of Images is part of the program of celebrating the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Japan.
