While it's the big names that draw a crowd to the Open'er Festival, there are several up-and-coming bands that shouldn't be missed. This Polish selection will assuredly turn some heads.

They recorded their first album in the kitchen on instruments, toys and other everyday objects. It is an intimate piece of domestic pop. Ballady i Romanse is a duo from the Wrońska sisters. For Ballady i Romanse, Zuza writes most of the lyrics and Basia composes the music.
Catz 'n Dogz

They regularly captivate Polish and German audiences, but their appeal does not end there – they have also performed in Brazil, Croatia, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the United States, and Romania. They have even played in the United Arab Emirates

Drekoty delivers movement, emotion, primal screams, sparse low key forms and great expression. Their album Persentyna, released in autumn 2012, is an excellent soundtrack for holiday travel.
