Shooting of the The Last Witness by Piotr Szkopiak started on 7th November. It will tell the story of a young journalist who discovers the truth about twenty-two thousand Polish citizens murdered by Russia at Katyń in March 1940. While the governments of the United States and Great Britain hide information about this occurrence in order to maintain political relations with the Soviet Union, the main protagonist of Szkopiak’s film must answer the question of what to do with the uncomfortable truth about the wartime massacre.

He has directed many TV series for the best TV stations (BBC, ITV, and Sky Television), including series like Casualty, EastEnders, and Doctors.
