Simona Kossak was a scientist, ecologist and the author of award-winning films, as well as an activist who fought to protect Europe’s oldest forest. She believed that one should live simple and close to nature. It was only among animals that she found what she had never experienced from humans. Her intimacy with forest inhabitants is an unexplained and magical phenomenon.
