After a long winter covered in snow and mud, the first green leaves begin to appear. You can even hear spring coming – it's being counted down in the song of a small yellow bird that makes a 'cilp-calp' sound.
Culture.pl goes for a walk on the edge's of the city with Stanisław Łubieński, the birdlover and author of The Birds They Sang, a book describing the rich world of birds' sounds, colours and meanings. The original Polish version was a finalist of the 2017 Nike Literary Award.
