Culture.pl's cameras headed to Koszęcin to visit the home of the Śląsk Dance Ensemble. There we spoke with the British artist felicita who has been merging modern electronic music with traditional Polish folk dances. The unusual project will be making its debut at this year's Unsound Festival in Kraków.
Making use of traditional choreography and clothing, while accompanying it with newly-written music, felicita has put together a hypnotic multimedia performance. The concept came from the artist's interest in folk culture, national identity, tourism, branding, illusion and farce, as well as the dance lessons he attended during childhood.
Unsound Festival 2016 takes place from 16th to 23rd October. More info can be found on the official Unsound website.
