The story of a young man and woman who work together at the supermarket. They're dubbed the company's worst employees, they are given the chance to find a new purpose in life in the span of two days. They receive unexpected help from a popular game show. Frozen Stories, a 27 minute 2011 feature is a perverse tale of two social outsiders and a window on an attempt to overcome life's impasses.
The film has received an award of the American Film Institute, making it eligible for the Academy Awards, it won the Grand Prix for Best Short at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles in 2011, was awarded an honourable mention at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival 2012 and nominated for a European Film Award. The film was presented in the Narrative Shorts section at Sundance and at the European Film Prize.
