The Polish-Lithuanian We: Beauty of Diversity project is a series of socially-engaged events. The exhibition is a space for observing tolerance and social reactions to diversity. Agnieszka Bar and Julia Janus, the curators, present the relationship between clothes and body shapes, and the unique forms of glass objects and the shapes of leaves. Both of them assign the same meaning to each of the forms. They pose the question why do people judge and categorise other people while they don’t judge the leaves of a tree as beautiful or ugly. We are just like leaves. Diversity in nature means adapting to one’s environment. Everything that comes from nature is equally beautiful.
