Imagorea is an exhibition of never-before-seen paintings created by the artist in the past 12 months. Jakub Julian Ziółkowski has continued to work on the issues typical of his practice, such as exploring the history of avant-garde art, and he also refers to the dark depths of the subconscious. He also alludes to the studio space and the creative process. The installation of the show is intended to oppose the modernist model of exposition.

Cooperation with the psychologist Bartłomiej Dobroczyński has played an important role in the preparations for the show. Dobroczyński's academic practice mainly focuses on the relationship between spirituality and psychology. The architectural design of the exhibition was conceived by Andreas Angelidakis.
