Marcin Ryczek
Born in 1982 in Lublin, he lives in Kraków. His works are characterised by the presence of symbols and geometric shapes. In his photography, he tries to follow one crucial rule: ‘minimum form, maximum substance’.
His works have been presented at many exhibitions, e.g. in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka), the US (New York, Fort Collins, Miami), Germany (Weimar), China (Beijing), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Romania (Cluj-Napoca), India (Goa), England (London), Austria (Salzburg), Denmark (Copenhagen), Italy (Desenzano del Garda) and France (Paris).
His photographs have been published in newspapers, magazines and websites all over the world, including The Guardian, The Telegraph, Der Spiegel, Yedioth Ahronoth, la Repubblica, Politiken, Athens Voice and National Geographic.
Magdalena Franczuk
An outstanding photographer and filmmaker. Currently, she is passionately working on a photographic series – chapters from The Book of Wonder – which will constitute the practical part of her Masters thesis. She also creates short films and essays, including ones on art.
Aleksandra Malinowska
Her main area of interest is fashion photography. Her expressive photos are fulfilled fantasies, characterised by a youthful imagination and a great ability to interpret space.
Adrian Gachewicz
Third-year student and outstanding portraitist. His works have been published in many magazines and presented at photography festivals e.g. in Hamburg and Łódź.
Robert Mainka
With great skill and artistic sensibility, he combines analogue and digital techniques, to create staged photography. His works have been presented in Łódź, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Brussels and Bratislava.
Tomasz Wysocki
Considered one of the most interesting photographers of the young generation, he creates photographic images that are based on complex studio scenography. His metaphorical art stirs the imaginations of viewers. He has presented his works in Milan, Lausanne, Copenhagen, at the Photography Festival in Łódź and, most recently, in the prestigious Leica Gallery in Warsaw.
Szymon Kobusiński
Graduate of the Direction of Photography and TV Production Department, where he specialised in photography. At the Hillerød exhibition, he will be presenting a photographic series of underwater impressions.
Tomasz Komorowski
Also a graduate of the Direction of Photography and TV Production Department, where he specialised in photography. He teaches at the Leon Schiller School and is curator of the Hillerød exhibition.
