In Hong Kong, Polish artists presented "African Tales by Shakespeare" directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski. Warlikowski is one of the biggest names in modern Polish theatre. His work presented at the Hong Kong Arts Festival is a co-production with international project Prospero. The show, loosely based on three of Shakespeare's classic plays ("Othello", "The Merchant of Venice" and "King Lear") and Coetzee's novel, focuses on the issue of being an outsider and suffering discrimination.
