"The World From Dusk Till Dawn" is a project based on a series of workshops for students at film schools in different cities across the globe
Students are led by professors, accomplished Polish documentary filmmakers and film critics, including: Marcela Łoziński, Jacek Bławuta, Vity Żelakeviciute, Jacek Petrycki, Paweł Łoziński, Rafał Listopad, Mateusz Werner, Maciej Drygas and Mirosław Dembiński. Together they will work to form a series of one-hour long documentary etiudes -the hero and backdrop of which is the city in question.
The main aim of the project is to showcase films created during the student film workshops (which took place in Kiev at the Karpenki-Karegy Kiev State Theatre, Cinema and Television University between the 8-23rd of July). The screenings are to be accompanied by films from a selection of participating tutors' most known works. The showings will form part of the series "From Warsaw to Brussels & Around the World" and the project encompasses the following cities: Warsaw, Minsk, Kiev, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Brussels.
