The project aims to promote Polish theatre in Turkey through a series of dramaturgic workshops for selected members of a drama writing class, run by GalataPerform - a prestigious venue focusing on avantgarde theatre in Istanbul.

Upcoming Workshops
Upcoming workshops will be run by Polish writers of the young generation . Michał Walczak will be hosting a play reading event on 22 November, and various workshops between 24-25 November 2014. Another part of the series will be run by Magda Fertacz , between 03 - 06 December 2014. A translation into Turkish of Polish texts will be an important element as a promotion of Polish theatre in Turkey.

Past Workshops
Previously, as part of the Transit Polonya project dramaturgic workshops, one of the most successful emerging authors and playwrights of the younger generation, Dorota Masłowska hosted a workshop on May 5th, at GalataPerform. Her recent play, Między nami dobrze jest/ No Matter How Hard We Tried, directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, was recently featured as the opening play at the 19th Istanbul Theatre Festival, on the 9th & 10th of May, 2014.
