The Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow hosts the second installment of the "Spoken Exhibitions" project. Following the debut presentation in Brussels in late August, young critics and curators from Poland present a vibrant showcase of the most happening phenomena in Polish art, architecture design and sound art
"Spoken Exhibitions" are a virtual tour through a wide range of genres and media led by the youngest generation of artists and critics from Poland. Grzegorz Piątek and Jarosław Trybuś (Golden Lion for best national participation at Venice Biennale 2008) Sebastian Cichocki (chief curator at Warsaw's Museum of Modern Art, curator of the Polish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2011) and Michał Libera (historian, critic and theorist of music) present an overview of the current art scene in Poland, with references to the groundbreaking currents in the Polish culture and art of the second half of the 20th century, in a radio play format that engages listeners in a debate on the state of Polish art.

The Garage Center for Contemporary Culture is a major non-profit international arts space based in Moscow dedicated to exploring and developing contemporary culture. The institution presents a programme of exhibitions by international and Russian artists, serving as a catalyst and meeting point for Moscow’s emerging arts scene. The building itself is considered a masterpiece of 20th century Russian architecture – the former Bakhmetevsky Bus Garage – designed in 1926 by the Constructivist architect Konstantin Melnikov.
