The fourth edition of the "Premiere" Festival in the Silesian city of Katowice presents seven concerts of new classical works by 29 composers
Organised by the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR), the festival debuts the latest works of Polish classical composers. A diverse repertoire of works composed no earlier than 2004 are to be presented by such collectives as the Aukso Chamber Orchestra from Tychy, conducted by Marek Mos, the New Music Orchestra under the baton of Szymon Bywalec, Camerata Silesia vocalists led by Anna Szostak, the Polish Radio Choir in Kraków directed by Arthur Sędzielarza, the Silesian Quartet and many more soloists and chamber music formations. All works are to enjoy their world premiere at the event. Concerts are held at the Grzegorz Fitelberg concert hall of the Katowice Cultural Centre and concert halls of the Music Academy. They will also be broadcast on Programme 2 of Polish Radio.
