Five projects by the Polish group appeared in the Designers category of the contest finals. Their project Hive won the Grand Award. It is a seat woven from natural flax and made up of 1,600 small modules, resembling a honeycomb structure. Another work for which Monomoka received an award was a pouffe named Artichoke, inspired by artichoke petals.
Winning the grand prize enabled the Polish designers to present their own exhibition at this year's fair in Singapore. This will be the first solo exhibition of Monomoka. During the IFF in 2014 the group wants to promote the Polish design and furniture industries.
The 31st edition of the International Furniture Fair Singapore will be held on 13-16 March 2014 .
