The Antimátéria Festival is a review of different music genres, from afrobeat through noise to progressive rock. This year, the second edition of the event will take place in Rio de Janeiro from 24th to 27th November. The Música Estranha Festival in São Paulo concentrates on presenting unconventional artists who transcend the borders of musical genres and aren't afraid to experiment and search for new means of expression. The fourth edition of the festival will take place from 24th to 26th November.
The results of LXMP and Mitch & Mitch’s musical residencies in Brazil in co-operation with Săo Paulo Cultural Centre (CCSP) will be presented at the festivals. The project Solo Ruins will be presented in Săo Paulo, the result of co-operation between LXMP and a unique avant-garde drummer from Japan, Tatsuyta Yoshida. In turn, Mitch & Mitch recorded ten original pieces with famous Brazilian musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Kassin, whose collaboration with the band started three years ago at concerts in Rio de Janeiro.

LXMP is a duet from Warsaw in which Macio Moretti plays drums and synthesizers and Piotr Zabrodzki plays synthesizers and bass. When Moretti and Zabrodzki meet on the stage, differences in musical genres disappear and aesthetic contradictions cease to exist. Their music is a crazy journey where jazz, improvised music, the chaos of noise, and pop music meet.
Mitch&Mitch is a Polish music band founded in 2002. At the beginning the group was a duet of Bartek ‘Magneto’ Tyciński and Macio Moretti. In 2007 the group grew to nine members for a live performance of the soundtrack to the 1925 American silent film The Lost World.
