Dorota Kędzierzawska and Marek Lechki took home prizes at the 51st International Film Festival in Saloniki. Kędzierzawska won for Lifetime Achievement and Lechki for the screenplay of his latest film "Erratum"
Kędzierzawska's win was ushered in with a retrospective of her films, which included Diabły, Diabły" / "Devils, Devils, Jestem" / "I Am and Pora umierać" / "Time to Die. According to the jury, her films are filled with "compassion for the person she portrays and the profound respect for the choices that the person makes".

Erratum, was awarded the prize for Best Screenplay. The main character of the film, played by Tomasz Kota, returns to his hometown to find himself caught up in an emotional ride through his own past, forced to reckon with his conscience and those closest to him. The film competed with 15 others from around the world in the festival competiton. The festival in Saloniki took place between December 3 - 12, 2010. Other major awards included a Golden Alexander for the Romanian film "Periferic" by Bogdan George Apetri, the Silver Alexander to Athina Tsangari for the Greek film "Attenberg" and the Bronze Alexander – Special Jury Award for Originality and Innovation went to the film "Jean Gentil" by Laura Amelia Guzman and Israel Cardenas.
