After its successful debut in Gdańsk, where the musicians were applauded with a standing ovation, conducted by artistic director Paweł Kotla and featuring a piano solo by Pr Jabłoński, the I, CULTURE Orchestra begins its tour of Europe
ICO's second concert takes place at the Krakow Philharmonic. The artistic director of ICO conducts the evening's performance, featuring violin soloist Agata Szymczewska. After Kraków, on the 4th of September the young musicians arrive in Sweden. Poland and Sweden participate in the building of Eastern Partnership and the evening marks an official closing of prestigious Baltic Sea Festival in Stockholm.
The orchestra will then go on to tour a number of European capitals as well as other parts of Poland such as Lublin (on the 22nd of October) and Warsaw (on the 11th of November). Each performance features different guest conductors (including Sir Neville Mariner and Paweł Kotla), soloists (Arabella Steinbacher, Agata Szymczewska and Peter Jabloński) and repertoires.
