But that’s not all! Visitors will have the opportunity to create their own original insects, as well as enjoy short animations depicting Polish insects in the geographical and cultural context of the Arab Emirates. They will also have the chance to discover Polish regional music: a special concert is planned by the band Tęgie Chłopy. Apart from the concert, the artists are preparing dance workshops for kids, introductions to instruments such as a clarinet, a trumpet, a tuba, an accordion, or violin, competitions and other surprises.
The exhibition of Polish illustration at the book fair in Abu Dhabi is intended for recipients of all ages, but of course above all for kids! Shaping the sensitivity of the young readers to illustrations is one of the missions of the exhibition’s organisers. Co-operation with this new geographical region is also of strategic importance for promoting Polish culture. Abu Dhabi is one of the most fascinating cities in the Middle East. A multi-ethnic society is the source of a dynamically developing cultural offer.
