This year's anniversary edition of the Koszalin Festival Film Debut "Młodzi i Film" / "Youth and Film" once again presents a selection of films by young Polish filmmakers
Animation, documentary and fiction films are screened in two sections: the Debut Feature Film Competition and the Short Film Competition. The screenings are accompanied by discussions led by young critics, as well as musical performances, panel discussions, exhibitions and meetings with the artists.
Among the Polish films, which will debut in Koszalin, are "W sypialni" / "In the bedroom", directed by Tomasz Wasilewski. Edyta is a forty-year old woman, who, because of her difficult financial situation has been forced to date various men she meets over the internet. After drugging them, she spends the rest of the night in their apartments.
Another film of note is the thriller "Leśne doły" by Sławomir Kulikowski. A young married couple (Ireneusz Czop and Teresa Dzielska) inherit a mansion in the countryside, in a village called Leśne dolły, and hope to turn the old building into a profitable motel. Soon the couple will find that the local community harbours a dark secret.
