Since 2013, he has been developing original projects in the field of new choreography and new dance. The work Fresh Flesh was created as part of a module during his studies at Codarts and has been presented in Schiedam, Rotterdam and The Hague. His next solo performances are SLAVE4YOU (2016) and PAX (2017). He was also one of the performers in the Warsaw version of Jérôme Bel’s performance Gala, which premiered in 2017 at the Nowy Theatre as part of the Body/Mind festival. In 2018, he was awarded a study visit as part of the Movement Research at The Judson Church programme. During his stay, he presented to New York audiences the performance POPULUXE made as part of the Solo Project, a now legendary programme of the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk. In POPULUXE, Grudziński referred to the aesthetics of ‘popular luxury’ characteristic of the consumer culture of the United States in the mid-20th century. The work was also presented at the Polish Dance Platform in 2019.
In the same year, his performance RODOS, inspired by allotment gardens and their non-obvious atmosphere, premiered, and was the result of an artistic residency entitled ‘Landscape’ curated by Weronika Szczawińska. This was the first collaborative creation by Grudziński. In 2020, he created – as one of nine invited artists – a solo choreography to disco music as part of the (post)pandemic Stayin’ Alive project curated by Tomasz Plata at Komuna Warszawa. In the performance DANCE MOM (2021, a co-production between the Nowy Theatre in Warsaw and the Żeromski Theatre in Kielce), he invited, among others, his mother, Ewa Grudzińska, who is not professionally involved in the performing arts, to collaborate. As he said in an interview with Wiesław Kowalski:
From the beginning of my work on ‘DANCE MOM’, I was keen to create a very equal situation. The mother in the project has exactly the same role as the other three performers.
