After graduation with honours from the Katowice Academy of Music where he had studied violin with Roman Lasocki, Krzeszowiec continued his education as a post-graduate student with Herman Krebbers at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 1997-1999. He further honed his skills at master courses conducted by, among others, Glenn Dicterow, Yair Kless, Tadeusz Wroński and Krzysztof Węgrzyn. He was a grant-holder of the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art and of the Japanese JESC Music Foundation.
Krzeszowiec's awards include 3rd prize at the Zdzisław Jahnke National Violin Competition in Poznań (1994), 3rd prize at the Kiejstut Bacewicz Chamber Music Competition in Łódź (1995), 4th prize at the Tadeusz Wroński International Solo Violin Competition in Warsaw (1997) as well as 5th prize at the Citta di Brescia International Violin Competition in Italy (1999), 1st prize at the Danish Radio Chamber Music Competition in Copenhagen (2006) and 1st prize at the International Max Reger Competition in Sondershausen (2006); he shared the latter two prizes with Trio Aristos. In 2000 Krzeszowiec received the Silesian Province Governor Award for outstanding violin achievement.
Krzeszowiec has played solo and chamber concerts in Poland and abroad, i.e. in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Czech, Finland, Denmark, Germany, South Korea, Mexico and the United States. He has done a number of recordings - kept in the archives - for the Polish Radio and Television as well as for EMI, Radio Katowice and Sony Classical.
Since 2001 Krzeszowiec has been the first violin in Kwartet Śląski / Silesian Quartet, the ensemble which can boast the Fryderyk award in the chamber music category (2004) among other prizes. Since 2004 he has also appeared in Trio Aristos where he has been playing alongside Alexander Ollgaard (viola) and Jakob Kullberg (cello). His music-making with the pianist Wojciech Świtała has resulted in the recording of Johannes Brahms's complete violin sonatas for Sony Classical.
In addition to concertizing, Krzeszowiec is also involved in teaching (he runs a violin class at the Katowice Academy of Music) as well as sits on the juries of Polish and international violin competitions.
