So far he has issued six CD's as a leader including four with Wierba & Schmidt Quintet, one with Piotr Schmidt Electric Group and one with Generation Next. For the past four years Scmidt has been in the top six in "the best jazz trumpeter of the year"category in the Jazz Top poll (Jazz Forum magazine). He has worked with Walter Smith III, Grzegorz Nagórski, Maciej Sikała, Wojciech Karolak, Krystyna Prońko, Dante Luciani, Grzegorz Piotrowski, Pawel Kaczmarczyk, Piotr Baron, Kazimierz Jonkisz, Michal Baranski and Wieslaw Pieregorólka.
He’s a member of F.O.U.R.S. Collective, whose album Treezz was released in March 2014.
