Tomaszczyk is the founder and leader of Biotone quartet, whose debut album Unspoken Words was released in 2012 and soon nominated to the Fryderyk Music Award. The CD contains solely Tomaszczyk’s compositions. Apart from his own band, he has also collaborated with various musicians of the jazz scene and beyond. He was a member of the Polish orchestras which played with Maria Schneider, and in 2011 he receive the scholarship of the Minister of Culture.
