Furthermore, Mariusz Godlewski also performs songs by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and Johannes Brahms, as well as German and English Baroque music. In January 2011, he took part in the premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki’s song Powiało Na Mnie Morze Snów… Pieśni Zadumy i Nostalgii, performing under Valery Gergiev. Godlewski and Gergiev met again and performed together in June 2011 during the White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg. In 2013, he sang under the baton of Krzysztof Penderecki during the Beijing Music Festival. A year later he received the Jan Kiepura Theatre Music Award for Best Singer. In the first half of 2020, Godlewski will portray King Roger on the stage of Konzert Theater in Bern.
His phonographic output includes recordings of Halka by Stanisław Moniuszko (DVD, Janusz), King Roger by Karol Szymanowski (CD, in the title role), and Chopin by Giacomo Orefice, all performed with the Wrocław Opera ensemble.
