Along with Olo Walicki and Maciej Grzywacz, she formed a jazz ensemble 0-58 and recorded the album Do dziesięciu, which was nominated for the Fryderyk Music Award in 2001. Since 2004 Stańko has also been performing and collaborating with various artists. As a result, she recorded the album Secretly, which is a tribute to Peter Gabriel and a collection of his compositions arranged for a jazz band by Stańko. Her latest CD, Kropla Słowa was also a great success. It is comprised of musical interpretations of poetry by masters like Halina Poświatowska, Dorota Szatters, Tomasz Jastrun or Wisława Szymborska. In 2012 the album was acclaimed Album of the Year by the critics from Jazz Forum magazine. Simultaneously to her artistic activity, she also works as a lecturer of jazz and vocal performance at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
