Her repertoire comprises oratorio parts ranging from the Baroque to modern, song cycles and operatic arias. She has also won high reputation for her interpretations of Wagner's music.
Rappé studied Slavonic languages at Warsaw University and singing at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw. She started her vocal training with Zofia Bregy and pursued her studies in the master classes of Jerzy Artysz.
She performed with many prominent orchestras conducted by such maestros as C. Davis, B. Haitink, N. Harnoncourt, S. Ozawa, M. Rostropowicz and S. Skrowaczewski. Rappé is an outstanding singer, regularly appearing in the foremost European and American concert halls (Warsaw, Berlin, London, Brussels, Vienna, New York's Carnegie Hall).
