She graduated from the Academy of Music in Kraków in 1998, and in 2001 she earned a diploma at the Royal Conservatory in Hague. Since 1999, she’s been perfecting her skills at master classes in techniques for performing contemporary harpsichord music under Annelie de Man at the Conservatory in Amsterdam. In this period, she also studied under Elżbieta Chojnacka at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
She has won numerous competitions of contemporary music, including Kamermuziek Concours Almere in the Netherlands (2004, performing with The Roentgen Connection ensemble), the International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition in Rotterdam (2003) and the International Contemporary Chamber Music Competition in Kraków (2002), where she received two first prizes - in the soloist and duets category (together with flautist Karolina Bäter).
She specializes in contemporary music. She performs solo as well as with chamber ensembles and orchestras. She is also involved in theatre and multimedia projects. She has made many first public performances of contemporary harpsichord music. More than fifty works have been written especially for her, including works by composers such as Yannis Kyriakides, Roderik de Man, Agata Zubel, Alexandra Gryka, Wojciech Ziemowit Zych, or recently Hanna Kulenty (the latest being GG Concerto for harpsichord).
She regularly collaborates with such artists as Theo Loevendie, Karlheinz Essl, Joe Cutler, Georg Hajdu, Zbigniew Bargielski, Annelies Van Parys, Henry Vega, and Sławomir Kupczak, as well as with soloists and ensembles: Isabel Ettenauer, Anton Lukoszevieze, Arturas Bumsteinas, Camerata Silesia, Brooomm! POW! ensemble, and Dafô quartet, with whom she has made album and radio recordings.
A special place in her repertoire is granted to electroacoustic music. She collaborates with such electronic music studios as STEIM in Amsterdam and SARC in Belfast.
She is an ambassador of Polish harpsichord music, which she presents regularly on foreign stages. She has participated in many international festivals of contemporary music, including Cross-Linx Festival in Utrecht, the International Festival of Contemporary Music - Days of Kraków Composers, Autumn Contemporary Music Festival in Tallinn, ICMC in Barcelona, the Festival of Polish Contemporary Music Musica Polonica Nova in Wrocław, Warsaw Music Encounters, Klangzeit Festival in Münster, Cutting Edge Festival in London, the Rheingau Music Festival in Stuttgart.
In recent years, she has performed at the Festival Audio Art in Kraków (2010), De Suite Muziekweek in Amsterdam (2008), the Festival of Polish Contemporary Music Musica Polonica Nova (2008), Progetto Musica / Musica Experimento in Rome (2010), November Music Festival (2010), the Polish Music Festival in Krakow (2008), during the Days of harpsichord music in Wrocław (2008), the Festival of Traditional and Avant-garde Music Kody/Codes in Lublin (2010), Holland Festival in Amsterdam (2010), and the Festival of Contemporary Harpsichord Music Procembalo in Parma (2010).
She is a founder and a member of the Roentgen Connection ensemble, which specializes in contemporary chamber music performed on old instruments, and Ensemble 306, which combines chamber and electronic music.
In 2008, the Polish music publishing house PWM and DUX released her monographic album titled Per Clavicembalo Moderno (PWM 10926 / DUX 0605).
She teaches modern harpsichord techniques at the Conservatory in Amsterdam.
