The project now moves to Moscow, with Eugeniusz Tkaczyszyn-Dycki and Tadeusz Różewicz in the first year's plans. Różewicz will not be visitng in person, but Russian readership can get acquainted with his life and work thanks to a film by Artur Burszta and Jolanta Kowalska, Dorzecze Różewicza / The Tributaries of Różewicz.
The upcoming Ambassadors of Poetry in Moscow will then host Wojciech Bonowicz, Justyna Bargielska and Bohdan Zadura in January 2014, Marta Podgórnik and Jerzy Jarniewicz in March and Marcin Sendecki with Andrzej Sosnowski in June.
The project’s finale with Jacek Dehnel and Ryszard Krynicki is scheduled for the 14th of October 2014. That last meeting will be accompanied by a book launch, presenting the anthology of Biuro authors’ works in Russian. The book will be the largest collection of contemporary Polish poetry in Russian translations.
The first Bureau evening takes place on the 15th of October, with screenings of The Tributaries of Różewicz then a meeting with Burszta scheduled on the following day. The film portrays Różewicz through what other arists say about him, what they owe to his poetry and how they interpret it. This material is completed with archive footage with the participation of the acclaimed poet. Both events take place at 7 pm in the Museum of Silver Age, with a booth selling books from the Wrocław-based publishing house. Admission is free of charge
