Mitch & Mitch is one of the most mysterious (and probably most numerous) Polish bands. They are Polish, but they speak Texan only. They claim to be US ambassadors in Poland. They started from country & eastern (their own version of country & western). They played at the most cheesy Country Picnic in Poland in Mrągowo, presenting their Luv Yer Country album. Since than, they toured Japan, France, Brazil, Israel and Hungary. They expanded their inspirations to Italian songs a la San Remo, Japanese ballads, porn movies soundtracks form 1970s, samba and mambo. The band expanded as well – from duo, through quartet to nine-piece-combo.
Musician cloak their personalities under pseudonyms based on the name ‘Mitch’ (even their latest add-on from Germany Felix Kubin was named Flexi Mitch for the purpose of cooperation). Yet, once the listener arrives at the concert he realises that these are well-known faces of Warsaw alternative music scene. First Mitch - Macio Moretti, known from ParisTetris, Starzy Singers, Alte Zachen, 60 minut project, is their frontman and bassist. Second Mitch – Bartek Magneto, known from more or less the same bands, plays the guitar. Mitch & Mitch easily blend adorable pleasure from playing with music erudition and incredible, spectacular technique. Certainly a must see!
