How many listeners gathered in front of their radios to listen to the BBC broadcast Lutosławski’s masterpieces? How many orchestras performed his music in the last year? In what way was Witold Lutosławski mentioned by the artists who worked with him?
The answer to these questions (and many others!) can be found in the draft prepared by the Polish music presentation, summarizing the achievements of Lutosławski’s Year. The actions taken by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute were particularly highlighted. The presentation is available at http://lutoslawski100.culture.pl.
