In January 2014, the Polish, Poznań based publishing house, enters the UK market.
From Adventures on a Deserted Island by Maciej Sieńczyk, to Bartnik Ignat by Tomasz Samojlik, the well -known Polish publishers intend to ravish the public with their Eastern European offer. A selection of Polish and Eastern European comics for demanding readers and special publications for children blur the lines between West and East.
First to come out will by Maciej Sieńczyk's Adventures on a Deserted Island, a stylish collection of stories read by a man who discovers a mysterious diary on his doorsteps. Caricatures of interhuman relations, absurd conversations - the journey to the island shows the unalterable habits of contemporary man.
Remaining present on the Polish market, the publishing house continues to organise the Ligatura festival, run the Cheap East Gallery and increase its comic book offer.
