Cross-cultural Cycling: Rent a Bike in Denmark & Leave It in Poland
Ever dreamed of just jumping on your bike and riding along the beautiful Baltic coastline? Well, good news: now you can! The new and improved EuroVelo 10 bicycle route lets you start off your trip with a wienerbrød for breakfast in Copenhagen and end your journey with a pierogi dinner in Gdańsk.
Beaches, sand dunes, cliffs, woodland, ports, marinas, islands, waves, and seagulls overhead. The EuroVelo 10 route is an impressive 9,100 km (5,650 miles) long and goes through nine countries: Denmark, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden. The Baltic coastline has so much to offer and now cycling lovers can enjoy it with ease. Although the route has been in use for a number of years now, it has just been updated and improved with new infrastructure and rerouting in several countries.

One of the most impressive new features is the one-way bike rental – a new cross-border initiative allowing travelers to cycle from Denmark to Poland without them having to return their rental bikes.
Officially launched at the end of May 2026, the new one-way cycling experience follows the spectacular EuroVelo 10 Baltic Sea Cycle Route, linking Copenhagen with Gdańsk through Denmark, Germany, and Poland.

The Polish coast has so much to offer cyclists from the gorgeous seaside towns of Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg and Łeba, to incredible natural landscapes of Slowiński National Park and the Hel Peninsula, the historical attractions such as Malbork Castle, and, of course, the fantastic tri-city comprised of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk.
