Bydgoszcz Music Festival
The Bydgoszcz Music Festival, first held in May 1963 as the 1. Festival of Polish Music in Bydgoszcz, was given its current name in 1968. Organized by the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Filharmonia Pomorska in Bydgoszcz, it aims primarily to promote high culture with a special focus on Polish works.
The Bydgoszcz Music Festival, first held in May 1963 as the 1. FESTIVAL OF POLISH MUSIC IN BYDGOSZCZ, was given its current name in 1968. Organized by the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Filharmonia Pomorska in Bydgoszcz, it aims primarily to promote high culture with a special focus on Polish works, including the forgotten ones, its programme embracing a wide spectrum of genres and forms of music composed throughout the ages.
The forthcoming 45th edition, scheduled on 10th September - 5th October 2007 and celebrating the Karol Szymanowski Year.
