Kasia Kopacz interview Angus Mackechnie, the Director of the Watch This Space Festival in London. Two major flagship projets of the Cultural Programme of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council made their debut. Teatr Biuro Podróży's Planet Lem took the stage on the 1st and 2nd of July as the first stop on the international tour. Upcoming shows are scheduled in Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow, Kiev and Minsk.
The performance created by Teatr Biuro Podróży is inspired by the fiction of Stanisław Lem, his unique, witty and poignant diagnosis of the contemporary world, and his reflection on the relations between technological progress and limitations of the human race.
Watch This Space Festival also saw the second installment of the I, CULTURE Contemporary Crafts Project. For more on these events, see: I, CULTURE Sets Out on Tour - First Stop London.
