Starting on 31st March, Vilnius International Film Festival is one of the most anticipated cultural events in Lithuania. Among the 200 films screened during the festival, sixteen are Polish productions and co-productions, including hits such as The Lure, United States of Love, and Zud. The festival runs until 14th April.

BAMcinématek, the Polish Cultural Institute New York and the Polish Film Institute present Kino Polska: New Polish Cinema, a four-day showcasing of best new films from Poland. Kinga Dębska created a moving and unpretentious film out of a story about a family, illness, and death. These Daughters of Mine, which received awards from the journalists and the audience at the Gdynia Film Festival, is a shamelessly tender and wonderfully acted piece of cinema.
