The story of the courage of five trade union activists who withdrew 80 million złoty from trade union accounts on the eve of the imposition of martial law in December 1981 despite the strict supervision of the security police. The money helped organise Solidarity’s legendary underground activities over the coming years and in no small way determined its success. 80 Million is Poland's submission to the 2013 Oscars in Foreign Language Film Category.
