During their first visit to China, the band played two concerts. Tides From Nebula received an invitation to play at one of the largest outdoor festivals in Beijing – Strawberry Music Festival as well as during its Shanghai edition.
Tides From Nebula is one of the best formations in Poland that creates music in the aesthetics of instrumental rock defined as post-rock. It is also one of the most popular and most successful Polish rock bands abroad, alongside such groups as Riverside, Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated or Chemistry. The band regularly tours Europe and the US, performing with, among others, such bands as After The Burial, Cynic, Russian Circles. The producer of their second album was the acclaimed composer Zbigniew Preisner. After the band's return from China, their latest, fifth album titled Safehaven will have its premiere, followed by the European tour comprising 22 concerts. The band's lineup, unchanged since formation, consists of Maciej Karbowski (guitar and keyboards), Tomasz Stołowski (drums), Adam Waleszyński (guitar) and Przemek Węgłowski (double bass).
