His performances are part of the European Music Festival in Vietnam. The event is organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam in collaboration with local partners: The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Vietnam, the Youth Theatre in Hanoi, and the Music Conservatory in Ho Chi Minh.
It will be the 14th edition of the festival. Over the past few years, it has become one of the most interesting and anticipated cultural events in Vietnam. Artists from EU countries present the Vietnamese audience with examples of European culture, while referring and promoting cultural collaboration that helps develop relations between Europe and Vietnam.
The festival presents classical, jazz, folk and contemporary music by European musicians, but also Vietnamese music. The event is very popular – in 2014 there were concerts performed by musicians from 8 European countries and Vietnam and they gathered an audience of over 6,300 people. European Music Festival is promoted across all media in Vietnam: television, newspapers, and online.
Voytek Proniewicz will be the only participant to present the classic repertoire. The programme will be filled with the following pieces for solo violin:
