The most prominent masters of classical music visit Bielsko-Biała for the third time already thanks to the initiative of the International Masterclasses Centre of the "Pro Bono Musicae"Association. World-class renditions of the classic masterpieces fill the halls of the StanislawMoniuszko State Music School in Bielsko-Biała.
Masterclasses
Between August 11th and 14th at the in the medieval interiors of Museum of Bielsko-Biała - Sułkowskis' Castle and between August 11th and 20th at the Stanislaw Moniuszko State Music School classical music workshops for violinists, altoviolinists, pianists and chamber musicians take place. The lecturers are some of the most distinguished professors of the music schools in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Monachium, Warsaw and Katowice.
Master Recitals
On August 16th, 17th and 18th at 18.00 at the Museum of Bielsko-Biała - Sułkowskis' Castle, the Master Recitals feature the selected participants of international master classes; talented violinists, altoviolinists, cellists and pianists from Poland, Spain, Germany, Russia, France, Serbia, Turkey, South Korea and Japan.
Chamber music concerts
On August 14th at 18:00 at the Concert Hall of the State Music School an eminent German pianist and a Chancellor of the University of Music Munich, Professor Siegfried Mauser, is performing together with the ensembles of the masterclasses lecturers. On August 19th at 18:00 at the concert hall some of the most outstanding participants of the master faculties are to perform, among which the winner of the multi-instrumental Musical Digest is being selected.
II International Gala Concert - Festival's Finale
On August 20th at the Concert Hall of the State Music School the Festivals finale is taking place with the performance by one of the world’s most famous cellists, Paris native professor Philippe Muller. He is accompanied by the festival’s orchestra "Pro Bono Musicae" conducted by Andrzej Kucybała. The other soloist is the young viola master Katarzyna Budnik-Gałązka. The programme of their performance includes great works of the classics such as J.Haydn, C.M.Weber, J.Ch.Bach, F.Mendelssohn.
The concert will be transmitted online live in real time thanks to the Livestream® technology.
