Polish/ Hungarian Conference to promote Eastern Partnerships
A conference will be held by the ECRU on the subject of public and cultural diplomacy. It is organised by the Hungarian Institute, the Polish Cultural Institute as well as members of the ECRU: the European Commission in the UK. A two-day London conference will be dedicated to exploring the role of the ECRU in promoting partnerships with the East and in aiding the mobility of artists.
The UK representation of the European Commission organises exhibitions (of individuals or from schools, such as The Royal College of Art), distributes language materials, print design projects, film documentaries (as part of initiatives such as the European Year of Volunteering), live music events (as with the Solar Festival), play and poetry readings as well as debates on topics ranging from the rights of women in Europe and economic governance in the Euro zone.
The UK branch of the European Commission serves as the voice of the European Commission in London.
